For today’s Waterlogue, I wanted to share with you a couple of classic Parisian café scenes decked out in Christmas decor. The first is Le Consulat in Montmartre, which is always a photographer’s favorite. It’s beautiful year-round, but its red color makes it especially festive at this time of year. The second is the famous Café de Flore in St. Germain des Prés, where famous thinkers and writers used to gather in the 1920s to chat, collaborate, and people watch. It is still a French and tourist favorite, today.
