The last few weeks, I’ve been spending time in a new (for me) city, Rotterdam. Before this month, I had only ever been to Rotterdam quite briefly, so there has been much for me to discover. The first night, we even crossed the Erasmus Bridge, which had to have been on the windiest day of all time! We could feel the massive structure swaying.

My daily walks often took me around the Hotel New York on the Oude Maas, which ended up being a great place for a meal or a drink. It’s also one of the prettiest buildings in Rotterdam. I was happy to spot some cherry blossom trees beginning to bloom there, one morning. I love how the pink looks against the mint-colored domes.

Thanks for the watercolors, Waterlogue.
