Continuing last week‘s Waterlogue Wednesday theme (because I’m in love with Alsace and took enough photos there to keep me posting for months), I have here a few more of those beautiful shutters and charming façades.
An Amsterdam Waterlogue Wednesday for you today as I share some recent photos from a few days I recently spent in Amsterdam. In the midst of a couple of weeks of not-so-desirable weather, I caught a few beautiful days with great light and had a ball shooting as I wandered around.
Is anyone headed to Amsterdam this summer? June through September are my favorite months in the City. Next time you’re planning a European getaway during that time frame, don’t forget Amsterdam!
A “friend” on Instagram congratulated me under one of my photos the other day for my Huffington Post feature. I had no idea what she was referring to, as I hadn’t been notified of any mentions from them. Indeed after a little googling, I did come across the article featuring 20 accounts worth following if you suffer from wanderlust. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a little ‘catch me if I can’ thing going… no one ever knows where I am; and, frankly, sometimes my own head is spinning from all the moving around. And yet, in spite of all the stress, fatigue, and exhaustion that can often accompany travel, I cannot live without it. And I even prefer my travel to happen with great frequency. For this reason, I feel very honored to be considered worth following for this particular topic. Pop on over to my account and join me as I travel across Europe.

Need some fun reading about one of the most beautiful cities in the world this weekend? I’ve got you covered. Pop over to Romantic Paris Magazine, where Falling Off Bicycles photography is featured once again. I tried to do a sort of red, white, and blue theme for a festive Bastille Day feel since I was choosing the photos around that time.
Thank you for your support!
Planning a trip to the Normandy or Brittany regions of France anytime soon? If you haven’t read it already, check out my previous article in Insiders Abroad Magazine about why camping is the best way to experience the regions. I also have a newer article in the Summer edition about specific cities and towns in the regions that will help you plan your visit to the area. It’s so rich in history and culture (think WWII for starters), that the article will be a good starting place for what you wish to see.
And good news… the magazine is free!
